Philosophy:

I believe most people instinctively know what foods are healthy. The problem is that our hectic lifestyles make it difficult to eat well. Also, the media confuses the issue even more. I consider myself another pair of eyes looking at your life. I pass on to you tricks and tips that I've learned through the years to help you acieve your goals. I don't believe in changing your life to fit a "diet", but rather modify your style of eating to fit into your life.

I love to eat just like most everybody else. I enjoy cooking and have found creative ways to cut calories while leaving in the flavor. I have published many of my recipes and now am compiling a cookbook. I believe physical activity is the crucial partner to healthy eating. Just like many people, I need motivation too. I try to engage in as many varied sports to keep things interesting. I love scuba diving, running, skiing, weight training, and walking my dogs.

Two years ago I weighed 45 pounds more than I do now. On my small frame, the extra weight was causing knee trouble, hip problems, and fatigue. After my first visit with Lisa, I followed her suggestions...I not only felt better, but the pounds melted away! I was eating more food and losing the extra pounds I have never been able to lose. It is now two years later and I'm a size 6!
